Vocational wellbeing is finding meaningful work, and staying resilient in the face of setbacks. Purposefields exists to democratise it — to put wellbeing and career development within reach of anyone in Australia, not only those who can pay for them.
Support that meets people where they are.
Real support with wellbeing and working life, available to anyone who needs it, whatever their circumstances.
We start from what a person or a community already holds — their capabilities, their relationships, their knowledge — and build from there.
Evidence matters, and so does the fact that wellbeing is understood differently across cultures and traditions. We make room for both.
We measure the work by what it leaves behind — for the people who come after the people we help.
Setbacks are the norm in a working life, not the exception — injury, redundancy, illness, caring, migration, discrimination, or simply arriving at work that no longer fits. What differs is how much support a person has when one arrives.
Purposefields delivers trauma-informed, strengths-based career coaching, community-oriented wellbeing support, and resilience training. Some of it is one-to-one and personal. Some of it is designed to reach further — into groups, into communities, and into the conversations that decide how wellbeing gets defined and funded in this country.
Every piece is held to the same commitments, and every piece is built before it's announced. What's open today is below. The rest is on its way.
Trauma-informed, strengths-based one-to-one sessions, online across Australia, on a sliding scale. Career coaching sits at the centre; wellbeing support and resilience training surround it. This is where the work is open to people today.
Career counselling is the primary practice. Wellbeing services sit alongside it — available as standalone support or woven into the counselling relationship.
Whether you're navigating a crossroads, building your professional identity, or ready to make a move — career counselling is where direction, strategy, and authentic expression come together. The work draws on career construction theory, ACT, psychometric tools, and ten years of practice across government, nonprofits, and the private sector.
Holistic support for the whole person — not just the career. These services can stand alone or integrate naturally alongside counselling work, depending on what you need.
Structured support for sustained energy, clarity, and balance. For people who want to function well — not just cope.
Therapeutic support grounded in ACT and relational approaches. Somatic bodywork and sound healing are available as adjuncts within this work.
Building what holds when a working life is disrupted — nervous system regulation, adaptive coping, and the capacity to keep moving after a setback rather than being defined by it.
Personalised instruction in meditation practice — from foundational technique to deepening an existing practice. Supports nervous system regulation, clarity, and sustained inner stability.
The full rate is $200–$300 per hour. An accessible rate ($65–$150) is available for those who need it, and concession rates ($25–$65) by application. Choose based on your honest financial situation.
All sessions online via Google Meet. In-person options (Northern Rivers & Gold Coast) available by arrangement — get in touch directly. Payment plans available on request.
A free 20-minute discovery call. No agenda, no pitch. Just a focused conversation to understand where you are, what you're navigating, and whether working together makes sense.
A social enterprise for wellbeing and career development
Finding meaningful work, and holding steady when that work is disrupted, has largely been a privilege — available through employers who invest in it, or to people who can pay for it privately. Purposefields exists to democratise it. Sliding scale pricing is core to how we operate, not an afterthought, and it applies to everything we build rather than only to what's open today.
Our approach draws on psychology, the body, and lived experience — ACT, career construction theory, relational therapy, and somatic practice. Not a fixed menu, but a working toolkit applied to what each person actually needs. Sessions can be cognitive, therapeutic, or somatic, and often move between all three over a working relationship.
